I am fascinated by the cellular possibilities of taking a unit of something, anything really, and building a new organism - just to see what it could become. The Shanghai Bund by itself is already rich with the dark romance of its history with triads and glamourously seedy underside of lost souls who've come to try their fortunes in a big city.

Somehow the collage of the Shanghai Bund had tranformed into a mystical Shangri-la, where the more the overlap of the "cell" units, the brighter the light grows. Legion of lights, indeed.
